About Casper (e)
Casper came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2002, developed by Avalanche Software. It was part of that wave of games based on cartoons and movies, a familiar sight on the handheld. You play as the friendly ghost, navigating a large, haunted mansion that serves as the main setting.
You control Casper, floating through rooms and hallways, solving puzzles to progress. The main goal is to help a human girl named Kat and ultimately become a real boy. Key mechanics include turning invisible to sneak past enemies, using your ghostly wail to stun them, and collecting ectoplasm to restore your health. The game is structured screen by screen, with some backtracking as you find new abilities. It can be a bit tricky, especially when managing your limited wail attacks against multiple ghosts.
