This GBA version of Cars is a weird little mix of racing and minigames—kinda like someone took the movie, threw it in a blender, and poured out whatever stuck. You’ve got Lightning McQueen and the gang (with the actual movie voices, which is cool) racing around tracks that feel like they were built in a hurry, plus random challenges like tire-changing or demolition derby stuff. It’s not exactly polished, but if you’re a kid who loved the film, there’s some dumb fun here. Just don’t expect Mario Kart.
The GBA port’s definitely rougher than the console versions—some of the minigames feel like they were added just to pad things out. But hey, drifting through Radiator Springs with that chiptune version of "Life is a Highway" hits a weird nostalgic spot. It’s the kind of game you’d rent for a weekend in 2006 and forget about until years later.
