Carl Lewis Athletics 2000 (europe) (en,fr,de,es,it,nl) Game

Carl Lewis Athletics 2000 is one of those late-era Game Boy Color sports games that somehow made it to Europe but never crossed the pond. You get a handful of track events—sprints, hurdles, long jump—with that classic early handheld jank. The controls are stiff, but there’s something weirdly charming about watching tiny pixel Carl Lewis flail his way down the track.
It’s not exactly a deep sim, more like a button-masher where timing matters just enough to keep you from totally zoning out. The European localization means you can play in six languages, though honestly, the menus are simple enough that it barely matters. If you’re into obscure sports games or just love the GBC’s weird library, it’s a fun little time capsule.
