About Cardcaptor Sakura - Itsumo Sakura-chan To Issho (japan) (rev A)
Cardcaptor Sakura: Itsumo Sakura-chan To Issho is a Japan exclusive release for the Game Boy Color. It came out in that late period for the handheld, when developers were still finding new ways to use the limited color palette. Published by Takara, it's a game that fits right in with other late 90s anime adaptations on the system.
You control Sakura Kinomoto as she explores her town from a top down perspective, moving screen by screen. The main goal is to find and capture the missing Clow Cards that are scattered throughout the environment. You use Sakura's signature staff, the Sealing Wand, to engage in simple action based battles when you encounter a card. Outside of combat, you talk to townsfolk for hints and search every corner of the map. The pacing is generally relaxed, though some card locations can be tricky to figure out without thorough exploration. It feels like a gentle, methodical adventure that captures the show's everyday magic.
