So, Cardcaptor Sakura - Itsumo Sakura-chan To Issho is one of those Japan-only GBC gems that never made it overseas. It’s basically a cute little adventure where you play as Sakura, running around collecting Clow Cards—except here, it’s all in chunky pixel art with that classic Game Boy Color charm. The dialogue’s in Japanese, obviously, but if you’ve watched the anime, you’ll recognize the vibes right away.
Gameplay’s a mix of light puzzles and turn-based battles where you use the cards you’ve snatched. The sprite work is adorable (Sakura’s little run animation is peak nostalgia), and the music’s got that late-90s RPG feel. Not gonna lie, it’s not super deep, but if you’re into the series or just love retro anime games, it’s a fun little time capsule. Just don’t expect an English patch—this one’s strictly for the dedicated fans.
