Card Party (j)(evasion) Game

Card Party is one of those weird little GBA card games that never made it outside Japan—which is a shame, because it’s got this chaotic energy I haven’t seen in other card battlers. You start off with a basic deck, but the real hook is how fast things spiral into madness. One minute you’re playing a normal match, the next you’re slapping down cards that flip the whole table’s rules upside down. The evasion mechanic keeps you on your toes, forcing you to rethink strategies mid-game when your opponent suddenly dodges your best combo.
It’s got that classic early 2000s pixel art too—bright colors, chunky card designs, and these over-the-top attack animations that make even a simple play feel dramatic. If you’re into obscure Japanese card games, this one’s a hidden gem worth digging up.
