Cabbage Patch Kids - The Patch Puppy Rescue (u)(trashman) Game

Okay, so Cabbage Patch Kids: The Patch Puppy Rescue is one of those weirdly charming GBA games that feels like it was made for kids but somehow pulls you in anyway. You play as one of those round-faced Cabbage Patch dolls running around collecting lost puppies (because sure, why not?). The controls are simple—just jump and grab stuff—but the levels get surprisingly tricky with hidden paths and obstacles.
First thing you’ll notice? The art style is aggressively cute, like someone smothered the screen in pastel colors. The music’s kinda repetitive, but in that nostalgic way where you don’t totally hate it by the third level. And yeah, it’s definitely a kids’ game, but there’s something satisfying about rescuing all those puppies before time runs out. Just don’t expect deep lore or anything.
If you’re into retro platformers with zero pretension, this one’s a weird little time capsule.
