CT Special Forces 2 is basically Metal Slug for the GBA, but with its own flavor. You’ve got the same run-and-gun chaos—explosions everywhere, enemies dropping in from all sides, and those satisfyingly chunky sprites. The controls are tight, though the weapon switching takes a second to get used to. First mission throws you straight into a jungle ambush, and yeah, you’ll probably eat a few bullets figuring out the grenade arc.
It’s not as polished as SNK’s stuff, but the action’s fast, the bosses are ridiculous (wait till you see the helicopter fight), and it’s got that "one more try" energy when you die. Just don’t expect deep storytelling—this is all about blowing stuff up with a buddy on the couch.
