Bust-A-Move 4 came out for the Game Boy Color in 1999, published by Taito. It was part of that wave of late-90s handheld puzzle games you could just pick up and play anywhere. The screen was small, the colors were bright, and it fit right in your pocket.

You control a little cannon at the bottom of the screen, aiming and firing colored bubbles up at a cluster hanging from the top. The goal is to clear the screen by matching three or more bubbles of the same color. The main mechanics involve judging your angles carefully to make the bubbles pop in chain reactions, and sometimes you get special bubbles that clear entire rows or colors when you hit them. The game starts off relaxed but the stages get tricky fast, demanding more precision as you go. It feels satisfying when you line up a perfect shot and watch a big section of the board disappear all at once.
