You control Flik, the inventive ant, navigating through side scrolling levels. Your main goal is to rescue the princess and your fellow ants from the grasshoppers. You jump across leaves and blades of grass, using seeds as projectiles to stun enemies. The game is structured screen by screen, requiring you to clear each area of foes before moving on.
