I picked up Buffy the Vampire Slayer for the Game Boy Advance back in 2003. It was developed by Natsume and published by THQ, a pretty common pairing for licensed games on the system at the time. You control Buffy Summers through a series of levels, moving screen by screen to clear areas of vampires and other monsters. The combat relies on a simple combo system using your stake; you punch and kick enemies until you can finish them with a wooden thrust. You also find temporary weapons like crossbows or holy water, and there's a bit of exploration for health pickups and keys to progress. The pacing is fairly quick, though some enemy patterns can make certain sections tricky. It feels like a solid, no-frills adaptation that gets you right into the action of being the Slayer.
