Bubble Bobble (europe) On Sms Game

Bubble Bobble on the Sega Master System is one of those classic arcade ports that somehow feels just right on a home console. You play as these little dinosaurs—Bub and Bob—blowing bubbles to trap enemies, then popping them for points. Sounds simple, but the levels get sneaky fast, with platforms that disappear or enemies that take weird paths.
There’s something oddly satisfying about the way the bubbles float, and the music sticks in your head for days. The 100 levels thing isn’t just padding, either—some of the later stages feel like they were designed by a slightly sadistic puzzle master. If you’ve got a buddy, the co-op is chaotic in the best way, though good luck not accidentally trapping each other in bubbles mid-jump.
It’s aged way better than most early platformers, mostly because the core mechanic just works. Still holds up if you’re into that old-school ‘one more try’ vibe.
