Bubble Bobble - Old & New on the GBA is basically a remixed version of the classic arcade game, but with some extra levels and a few tweaks. You still play as those adorable little dinosaurs Bub and Bob, blowing bubbles to trap enemies and then popping them for points. The "Old" mode is straight-up nostalgia—same levels, same music—while the "New" mode shuffles things around and adds some surprises.
At first, it feels just like the original, which is great if you grew up with it. But after a few levels, you notice the little changes—some enemies move differently, and the layouts get trickier. The GBA screen makes everything bright and colorful, though the music can get a bit repetitive if you play for too long. Still, it’s a solid way to kill time, especially if you’re into simple but addictive arcade-style games.
Honestly, it’s not a huge upgrade from the original, but if you’ve never played Bubble Bobble before, this is a fun way to start.
