Broken Sword - The Shadow Of The Templars (e)(venom) Game

Broken Sword: The Shadow of the Templars (or Circle of Blood, depending on where you played it) is one of those classic point-and-click adventures that just sticks with you. You start off as George Stobbart, an American tourist in Paris who gets tangled up in a bombing at a café—next thing you know, you're knee-deep in conspiracy theories, ancient Templar secrets, and a murder mystery. The GBA version keeps the charm of the original PC game, though the later Director’s Cut added some extra scenes if you’re into that.
The puzzles are just the right mix of clever and frustrating—some make you feel like a genius when you figure them out, others… well, let’s just say I may have resorted to a walkthrough once or twice. The writing’s sharp, the characters are weirdly memorable (looking at you, goat puzzle), and the art style holds up surprisingly well for a handheld port. If you like adventure games that don’t hold your hand, this one’s a solid pick.
