Bouken-ou Beet: Busters Road came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2005, developed by Inti Creates. It was one of those later GBA titles that arrived when the system's library was already deep and varied. You don't hear much about it now, but it was a solid action RPG that felt right at home on the handheld.

You control Beet, a young hero who explores the world screen by screen, fighting monsters with his sword and a bow. Your main goal is to collect the scattered pieces of the Excalibur sword to stop the demon king. The combat is straightforward but requires timing; you slash with your sword at close range or use the bow to hit distant switches and enemies. Dungeons are multi-floor mazes filled with puzzles and bosses that test your reflexes. The pacing is brisk, and the difficulty can be surprisingly sharp in some later areas. It feels like a condensed adventure that respects your time while still offering a decent challenge.
