Board Game Classics is one of those GBA carts I keep coming back to when I just want something simple but satisfying. It’s got chess, backgammon, and a few others—nothing flashy, just solid digital versions of the real thing. The AI’s decent enough for quick matches, though I’ll admit I mostly play it against friends on long car rides. The pixelated pieces have this weirdly charming look, like someone shrunk a chess set into a Game Boy screen. If you’ve got a soft spot for handheld board games, this one’s a no-brainer.
