Blade on Game Boy Color is basically a stripped-down version of the PS1 game, but honestly? It’s not bad for a handheld adaptation. You’re running through dark city streets slashing vampires with your sword, and the combat’s simple but satisfying—just mash the button and watch Blade do his thing. The levels are short, which works for on-the-go play, though some of the platforming bits can feel a little clunky.
Graphics are decent for GBC—lots of moody blues and blacks to match the movie’s vibe. Don’t expect deep storytelling here; it’s mostly “go here, kill vampires, repeat.” But if you’re a fan of the film and want something quick to play between bus rides, it gets the job done.
