About Bionicle (u)(hyperion)
Bionicle for the Game Boy Advance came out in 2003, developed by Hyperion. It was one of many action platformers on the system, a familiar genre for players at the time.
You control one of six Toa heroes, switching between them to use their unique elemental weapons like Tahu's fire sword or Lewa's air axe. Your goal is to stop the Bohrok swarms from consuming the island of Mata Nui. The game plays out across side-scrolling levels where you run, jump, and fight through environments like jungles and beaches. You explore screen by screen, defeating enemies and navigating platforming challenges to collect Kanohi masks, which unlock new areas.
