Bionicle Heroes came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2006, developed by Amaze Entertainment. It was part of that late era for the handheld where developers were really pushing what the hardware could do with 3D-style action games. This one was based on the Lego toy line, but it played very differently from the typical Lego adventure.

You control a Toa hero, moving through levels screen by screen and clearing out enemies called the Piraka. The main goal is to advance through these themed worlds, fighting bosses and collecting hidden mask pieces to unlock new characters. The combat is simple; you hold a button to lock on to targets and then fire your elemental powers. You also switch between six different Toa, each with a unique ability needed to solve environmental puzzles, like using fire to melt ice barriers or stone to break down walls. The game moves at a steady pace, and the difficulty is manageable, never becoming too punishing. It feels like a straightforward, action-focused quest that keeps you pushing forward to see what the next area holds.
