Man, Rockman EXE 3 Black still holds up. You start off in ACDC Town like always, but this time there’s this weird tension—like something’s off with the net. The battles? Still that perfect mix of real-time action and deck-building strategy. I remember wasting way too much time tweaking my folder, swapping out chips to counter whatever nonsense the next boss would throw at me.
The Black version throws in some extra chips and a few post-game surprises if you’re into that. And the style changes? Way more fun than they had any right to be—I kept resetting until I got the one I wanted. The story’s got that classic EXE cheese, but there’s some legit emotional moments buried in there too. If you’ve played the others, you already know what you’re in for, just with a bit more polish.
Also, shoutout to the soundtrack. That internet battle theme still slaps.
