Battle B-Daman on the GBA is basically what happens when you mix marbles with tiny battle robots—and somehow it works. You start off picking your B-Daman (I went with the blue one because, well, it looked cool) and then it’s straight into these weirdly intense arena battles where you’re ricocheting shots off walls to hit your opponent’s weak points.
Customizing your B-Daman is half the fun—swapping out parts changes how it shoots, moves, even how fast it reloads. Took me a few matches to realize the heavier armor slows you down way more than I expected, but hey, live and learn. The AI isn’t pushover either—some of those later rivals will absolutely wreck you if you just spam shots.
It’s got that classic early 2000s anime-game energy, right down to the dramatic close-ups when you land a killer shot. If you ever had a phase with Beyblades or Custom Robo, this’ll hit the same nostalgia spot.
