BattleBots on the GBA is exactly what it sounds like—you’re piloting a little RC death machine and smashing other bots to pieces. The tournament mode’s the main draw: pick a weight class, fight through four matches, and try not to get turned into scrap metal. Lose, and it’s back to the garage.

What’s cool is they’ve got 16 real-life bots in here, so if you’ve ever watched the show, you’ll recognize some of them. Sponsorships give you extra cash for upgrades, which you’ll definitely need—some of these fights get brutal fast. Just don’t expect deep customization; it’s more about quick, chaotic brawls.

It’s janky in that early 2000s handheld way, but there’s something satisfying about wedging a sawblade into your opponent’s circuitry.
