Batman: Rise of Sin Tzu is one of those GBA beat 'em ups that actually feels like you're throwing punchesānot just mashing buttons. The animationās slick, with Batmanās cape whipping around as you combo thugs through Gothamās grimy streets. Sin Tzuās a solid new villain, and you can tell the devs took cues from the animated seriesāhis designās got that same exaggerated, menacing style.
Whatās cool is you donāt just play as BatsāRobin, Nightwing, and Batgirl are all here, each with their own moves. Robinās quick but weak, Batgirlās balanced, and Nightwing? Dude hits like a truck. The levels throw in some light platforming and environmental attacks (gotta love kicking goons into electrical panels), though itās mostly about clearing rooms before moving on. Not groundbreaking, but it nails that Saturday-morning-cartoon brawler vibe.
If youāre into the animated series or just want a solid GBA fighter, this oneās a good time. Just donāt expect Arkham-level depth.
