Alright, so Batman: Rise of Sin Tzu on the GBA—it’s one of those side-scrolling beat 'em ups where you’re just plowing through thugs in Gotham’s grimy alleys. Sin Tzu’s this new villain they cooked up for the game, and he’s got this whole warlord vibe going on, which honestly feels pretty fresh compared to the usual rogue’s gallery.
You start off with Batman’s basic punches and kicks, but pretty quick you’re pulling off grapples, batarang throws, and even some slick environmental takedowns. The controls are tight, though I’ll admit some of the later enemy swarms can feel a little cheap if you’re not careful. And yeah, you can play as Nightwing, Robin, or Batgirl too, which is cool—each has their own move set, so replaying levels with them doesn’t feel like a total repeat.
It’s got that classic GBA look—dark, pixelated Gotham with just enough detail to make the city feel alive. The music’s decent, but don’t expect anything you’ll hum later. If you’re into Batman or just want a solid brawler for your handheld, this one’s worth a few hours of your time.
