Okay, so Barbie Horse Adventures is basically what happens when you take Barbie, give her a horse, and drop them both into a surprisingly chill open-world GBA game. You spend most of your time trotting around these colorful countryside trails, jumping fences, and collecting ribbons at races—which, honestly, the controls are way smoother than you’d expect for a horse game on the GBA.

There’s something weirdly satisfying about brushing your horse between events or picking out new tack at the stable. The races aren’t super hard, but nailing a perfect jump over a hedge feels great. And yeah, it’s Barbie, so everything’s pink and sparkly, but the riding mechanics are legit fun if you just lean into it.

Definitely one of those games where you zone out for an hour just exploring and accidentally win three trophies without even trying.
