About Banjo Pilot
Banjo Pilot came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2005, developed by Rare. It was part of that wave of late GBA titles where developers were really pushing what the handheld could do with 3D-style graphics. This was a kart-style racer, but with planes, which felt like a natural fit for the Banjo-Kazooie characters.
You control Banjo, Kazooie, or other characters from the series, piloting small aircraft across a variety of tracks. The main goal is straightforward: finish first. You collect golden feathers to use as projectiles, grab red feathers for a temporary speed boost, and perform aileron rolls by pressing the shoulder buttons to deflect incoming attacks. The pacing is fast, and the later cups get pretty tough, demanding sharp reflexes to dodge the constant barrage of items from other racers. It feels like a chaotic, colorful scramble from start to finish.
