About Banjo Pilot (e)(risingcaravan)
Banjo Pilot came out in 2005 for the Game Boy Advance, developed by Rare. It was part of a wave of kart-style racers on the handheld, but this one put you in the cockpit of a plane instead of a car.
You control Banjo, Kazooie, or other characters from their series, piloting aircraft through twisting courses. The main goal is straightforward: finish first in a series of Grand Prix cups. You collect golden feathers to shoot at rivals, and you can find red feathers for a temporary speed boost. The tracks are full of shortcuts and hazards, and the AI racers are aggressive, making the races surprisingly competitive. It feels like a quick, chaotic scramble from start to finish.
