About Baldur's Gate - Dark Alliance (e)(cezar)
Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance on the Game Boy Advance was a handheld take on the console action RPG. Released in 2004, it was developed by Magic Pockets and published by Vivendi Universal Games, bringing a simplified version of the Dungeons & Dragons experience to the small screen during the platform's peak years.
You control one of three adventurers, like the human archer Vahn or the dwarven fighter Kromlech, fighting through dungeons and the city's sewers. The main goal is to uncover and stop a sinister conspiracy threatening Baldur's Gate. You explore the world screen by screen, engaging in real-time combat with swords, axes, or bows against goblins and skeletons. Loot is constant; you are always collecting gold and new equipment to improve your character's stats. The pacing is brisk, and the game can be quite challenging, demanding careful management of health potions. It feels like a solid, condensed dungeon crawl that fits in your pocket.
