Bakuten Shoot Beyblade 2002 Team Battle! Daichi Hen (j)(paranoid) Game
📅 2002 ✍️ Paranoid

Okay, so this is one of those early 2000s Beyblade games for the GBA—specifically the 2002 Japan-only release. You pick your team (Daichi’s crew or the rivals), customize your tops, and then it’s basically a mix of menu-based strategy and quick arena battles. The controls are simple—mostly button mashing for attacks—but there’s something weirdly satisfying about watching your Beyblade knock the other one out of the ring.
Graphics are about what you’d expect from a GBA licensed game—bright colors, decent sprite work, but nothing mind-blowing. The real draw (if you’re into this) is the team mechanics—you swap between characters mid-battle, which keeps things from getting too repetitive. Not gonna lie, the AI can be a little cheap sometimes, but it’s fun in short bursts if you grew up with the anime.
Definitely more of a nostalgia pick than a hidden gem, but hey, sometimes you just wanna relive the spinning-top hype.
