Alright, so Bakuten Shoot Beyblade 2002 on the GBA is basically the closest you could get to actual Beyblade battles back in the day—minus the risk of smashing your friend’s favorite toy into a wall. You pick your blade, tweak the parts (weight matters more than you’d think), and then just… let it rip.

The battles are chaotic in the best way. Your Beyblade clangs around the arena, sparks flying, and if you time it right, you can trigger special moves that feel straight out of the anime. The AI isn’t a pushover either—some of these virtual bladers will absolutely wreck you if you just button-mash.

It’s got that early 2000s charm, right down to the pixelated attack animations and the weirdly satisfying *clink* sound when blades collide. Not gonna lie, the customization is simple but weirdly addictive. You’ll spend way too much time swapping out parts just to see if your new setup can finally take down that one obnoxious rival.

If you ever yelled “3, 2, 1, LET IT RIP!” as a kid, this game’s a nostalgia trip worth spinning up.
