Babar - To The Rescue (u)(trashman) Game

Babar - To The Rescue is one of those weird little licensed GBA games that somehow ended up being kinda charming. You play as the elephant king himself, running and jumping through bright, cartoonish levels to save Celesteville from some vague disaster (honestly, the plot's not the strong point here).
The controls are simple—Babar can stomp enemies, swing from vines, and even ride a skateboard at one point—but the level design throws in just enough surprises to keep it interesting. I remember getting stuck on this one jungle level where you have to time your jumps between collapsing platforms, and it took me way too many tries to get it right.
It's definitely a kids' game, but there's a weirdly satisfying flow to it once you get going. The music's cheerful, the colors pop, and hey, it's Babar—when was the last time you played a game about a well-dressed elephant?
