Man, Ayrton Senna's Super Monaco GP II on the Master System was my jam back in the day. It’s not as flashy as the Genesis version, but it still nails that F1 feel—tight corners, breakneck speeds, and that satisfying slide when you push too hard. You start off qualifying, which already feels intense because the AI doesn’t mess around, and then it’s straight into the race with Senna’s name right there on the title screen like a stamp of approval.

The tracks are surprisingly detailed for an 8-bit system, and the controls? Smooth. A little twitchy at first, but once you get the hang of it, threading through Monaco’s narrow streets without scraping the barriers is pure satisfaction. Just don’t expect modern physics—this is old-school arcade racing where you can powerslide like a madman if you’re brave enough.

Still holds up if you’re into retro racers, especially if you’ve got nostalgia for Senna or that era of F1.
