Oh man, Aventures de Buzz l'Eclair takes me back. It's that old-school Game Boy Color game where you play as Buzz Lightyear (yes, the Toy Story guy) in some surprisingly decent side-scrolling action. You're blasting space bugs, jumping over gaps, and occasionally flying in zero-G sections that actually feel pretty cool for a GBC title.

The French version doesn't change much gameplay-wise, but the text is all in French—which, if you're like me and barely passed high school French, means you'll be guessing at some of the mission briefings. Still, the pixel art holds up, especially Buzz's little sprite with his laser and wings. First level throws you right into battling alien vines on some planet surface, and the controls are simple enough that you'll get the hang of it fast.

Not gonna lie, it's janky in that classic licensed-game way, but there's charm in how hard it tries to feel like a real Buzz Lightyear adventure. You can tell they put actual effort into the space station levels.
