Atomic Betty (u)(trashman) Game

Atomic Betty on the GBA is one of those early 2000s licensed games that somehow ended up being way more fun than it had any right to be. You play as Betty, zipping around space in her ship blasting aliens—controls are simple, but the levels get surprisingly hectic. The art style nails the cartoon’s vibe, and the music’s got that weirdly catchy synth thing going on.
First mission throws you right into it: dodging asteroids while taking down enemy drones. The power-ups are straightforward (more guns, always more guns), but the later boss fights actually require some dodging skill. Not gonna lie, I died a few times figuring out the patterns.
If you’re into retro space shooters or just miss that era of cartoon tie-ins, this one’s a solid pick. Runs smooth on emulators, too.
