Remember those plastic army men you used to set up in the backyard? This is that, but on your GBA—except now they actually shoot back. You start off leading a squad of little green soldiers against the tan guys, and honestly, the first time you see them pop out from behind a soda can or take cover in a cereal box, it’s weirdly satisfying.
The missions throw you into all these tiny warzones—kitchen counters, sandboxes, that kind of thing—and you’ve gotta be smart about positioning. Some weapons are way better in close quarters (flamethrowers melt plastic real nice), while others work better if you hang back. I kept getting wrecked at first because I’d just charge in like an idiot.
It’s got that janky early 2000s GBA vibe, but in a way that kinda works? Like, the graphics are simple, but watching your little guys get blown apart into plastic chunks never gets old. If you played with these toys as a kid, it’s worth a shot just for the nostalgia alone.
