Aozoora To Nakamatachi - Yume No Bouken (j)(megaroms) Game

Ever stumble onto one of those obscure GBA RPGs that never made it out of Japan? Aozoora to Nakamatachi - Yume no Bouken is exactly that—a weird little adventure where you play as a blue wolf (Aozoora) leading a pack of animal friends through some surprisingly dreamy landscapes. The pixel art has this soft, watercolor-ish vibe, and the battles are simple turn-based stuff, but there's something oddly charming about recruiting random forest critters to your cause.
First ten minutes: You wake up in a glowing meadow, immediately get ambushed by angry mushrooms, and realize your only ally is a very nervous rabbit who keeps missing his attacks. Classic. The menus are all in Japanese, but if you've played enough old-school RPGs, you can kinda fumble through it. Just expect to mash A a lot until you figure out which option is "attack."
It’s definitely not the deepest game, but there’s a cozy, low-stakes vibe to wandering around with your weird animal squad. The music’s all flutes and chimes, like someone tried to make a Studio Ghibli game on a Game Boy Advance budget.
