Antz Racing is one of those weird little Game Boy Color gems where you race as—you guessed it—ants. Tiny, six-legged speed demons tearing through picnic tables and backyard dirt tracks. The controls are simple, but the courses get surprisingly tricky with sudden drops and obstacles that’ll flip your ant like a pancake if you’re not careful.
It’s got that classic GBC charm—bright colors, chunky sprites, and a weirdly satisfying sense of speed for a game about bugs. There’s a surprising amount of variety in the tracks, too, from sandy dunes to kitchen countertops. Just don’t expect Mario Kart-level depth; this is more of a quick, chaotic pick-up-and-play racer.
Oh, and the European version means you can curse at your ant in six different languages when it wipes out on the last lap.
