Animal Snap - Rescue Them 2 By 2 (u)(independent) Game

Animal Snap is this weird little GBA game where you match animals in pairs to rescue them—kinda like a mix of memory and solitaire, but with way more pandas and penguins than you'd expect. The art’s super simple, but there’s something oddly satisfying about flipping tiles and clearing the board before time runs out. At first I thought it’d be too easy, but some levels actually get pretty tense when you’re down to your last few moves.
You can play it in quick bursts, which makes it perfect for when you’re waiting around. And yeah, you’ll probably recognize a few of the animals from other games—it’s got that early 2000s indie charm. Not gonna lie, the music’s a little repetitive, but I ended up muting it and throwing on my own playlist after a while.
If you’re into casual puzzle games and don’t mind some janky translations (looking at you, "Rescue Them" title), it’s a decent time-waster. Just don’t go in expecting anything groundbreaking.
