Animal Snap - Rescue Them 2 By 2 (e)(independent) Game

Animal Snap is one of those weird little GBA games that somehow sticks with you. It's basically a memory match game, but instead of boring old cards, you're flipping over tiles to rescue pairs of cute (and slightly derpy) animals. The art's got that early 2000s charm—think bright colors and exaggerated expressions.
At first it seems simple, but the stages get sneaky fast. Some animals look almost identical except for tiny details, and the later grids get huge. I kept mixing up the pandas and raccoons for way too long. There's something satisfying about clearing a tough board though, watching all the little critters celebrate when you free them.
Definitely a solid pick if you want something quick to play in short bursts. Just don't blame me when you start seeing animal pairs in your sleep.
