An American Tail - Fievel's Gold Rush (e)(lightforce) Game

An American Tail: Fievel's Gold Rush is one of those weird little GBA platformers based on a movie you probably forgot existed. You play as Fievel, the tiny mouse from An American Tail, hopping around Wild West-style levels collecting gold coins and avoiding cats. It’s got that early 2000s licensed game energy—simple controls, bright colors, and a soundtrack that’s way catchier than it needs to be.
First level throws you right into a desert town with bouncing cacti and swinging ropes. The jumping feels a little floaty, but you get used to it after a few tries. There’s something oddly satisfying about stacking coins while dodging tumbleweeds, even if the whole thing feels like it was made in a weekend. Not a hidden gem, but decent if you’re nostalgic for the movie or just want something uncomplicated to kill time.
