American Pro Football (europe) Game

American Pro Football (or just "American Pro Football" if you're in Europe) is one of those early Sega Master System sports games that somehow feels both janky and charming at the same time. You get pixelated versions of NFL teams, including the Chicago Bears with Walter Payton's likeness—though don't expect Madden-level realism here.
The gameplay's pretty straightforward: pick a team, run some basic plays, and try not to fumble every other snap. The controls take a minute to get used to, especially if you're coming from modern football games, but there's something satisfying about the simplicity. Defense is mostly about guessing the opponent's play and hoping your linebacker doesn't get stuck in the turf.
It's definitely a product of its time—the graphics are blocky, the commentary is nonexistent, and the AI isn't exactly genius-level. But if you're into retro sports games, it's a fun little piece of football history. Just don't expect a deep franchise mode or online play.
