Aliens: Thanatos Encounter is one of those weird little GBC games that somehow slipped under the radar. You get this top-down perspective where you're blasting through dark corridors—classic Aliens vibes, but with that chunky pixel charm. The controls take a second to get used to, but once you do, it's oddly satisfying to mow down xenomorphs with your pulse rifle while dodging their acid spit.

What surprised me was how tense it gets when you're low on ammo and hear that iconic motion tracker beeping faster. Not gonna lie, the first time one burst through a vent right in front of me, I nearly dropped my Game Boy. It's janky in places, but if you're into the franchise, it's a neat little time capsule from when licensed games could still be weird experiments.
