Alex Rider: Stormbreaker came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2006, developed by Razorback Developments and published by THQ. It was part of that wave of movie tie-in games that tried to capture the feel of the young spy film on the small screen. The GBA library was full of licensed titles then, and this one aimed to stand out with its action platforming take on the story.

You control Alex Rider, a teenage spy equipped with gadgets from his handler. The main goal is to stop the villainous Darrius Sayle and his Stormbreaker computer scheme. You move through levels screen by screen, fighting guards with punches and kicks, and using a grappling hook to swing across gaps or reach higher platforms. Some sections have you sneaking past security cameras and lasers, which breaks up the straightforward combat. The pacing is fairly quick, though some enemy patterns can feel repetitive after a while. It feels like a straightforward action game that tries to pack in a few different ideas to keep you moving forward.
