This one was published by THQ, and it follows the plot of the movie, putting you in the shoes of the teenage spy Alex Rider. It fits right in with other action-platformers from that era, offering a straightforward adventure without much fuss.

You control Alex through a series of side-scrolling levels, moving screen by screen. Your main goal is to uncover a conspiracy, which involves a lot of running, jumping across platforms, and using your fists to take out guards. A couple of key mechanics stand out: you use a grappling hook to reach higher areas, and you occasionally get to pilot a hoverboard for some faster-paced sections. The game moves at a decent clip, though some of the enemy patterns can feel a bit repetitive after a while. It feels like a solid, if unspectacular, way to step into the role of a young secret agent.
