Alex Kidd in Miracle World is that weird, kinda janky platformer you either loved or rage-quit as a kid. You’re this little dude with monkey ears punching through rocks, riding motorbikes, and playing rock-paper-scissors against bosses—because sure, why not? It’s got that old-school Sega charm where everything’s just slightly off: the jumps feel floaty, the enemies spawn in annoying spots, and sometimes you’ll swear the game’s cheating at RPS. But there’s something weirdly addictive about it, especially when you finally nail that one stupid jump after 20 tries.

Also, the music slaps harder than it has any right to. That’s not up for debate.
