About Air Force Delta
Air Force Delta came out for the Game Boy Color in 2000, published by Konami. It was part of a wave of portable flight games that tried to capture the feel of larger console titles, fitting right in with the handheld's library of arcade style action.
You pilot a fighter jet through a series of missions, with the main goal being to destroy all enemy targets in an area. The gameplay involves locking onto aircraft with a targeting reticle and firing missiles, while also managing your speed and altitude. Missions are typically short and focused, but the difficulty can spike quickly if you get surrounded. The feeling is one of constant, twitchy motion as you bank and dive to stay on target.
