Aero The Acro-bat : Rascal Rival Revenge Game

Man, Aero the Acro-Bat: Rascal Rival Revenge takes me back—this GBA sequel nails that classic 90s platformer feel. You start off flipping through carnival-themed levels, bouncing off trampolines and dive-bombing enemies mid-air like some kind of winged ninja. The controls take a second to click (that double-tap spin move still trips me up sometimes), but once they do, you’re ricocheting between springs and chaining tricks like it’s second nature.
Zero the Squirrel’s back too, being his usual chaotic self—dude shows up out of nowhere to chuck bombs or ride a giant wrecking ball at you. The pixel art pops on the GBA screen, especially in the neon-lit factory stages, and the music’s got that upbeat, slightly cheesy charm. It’s not the hardest platformer out there, but nailing a perfect aerial combo without faceplanting into spikes? Still feels awesome. If you’ve got a soft spot for forgotten mascot games, this one’s a solid time capsule.
