Aero The Acro-bat - Rascal Rival Revenge (u)(mode7) Game

Remember Aero the Acro-Bat? This GBA sequel takes the weirdly charming 90s platformer and cranks up the speed. You're still flipping through levels as the circus bat, but now everything's faster, tighter, and way more chaotic. The first level throws you right into loop-de-loops between floating platforms, with those annoying Rascal enemies popping up everywhere.
What surprised me was how much better the controls feel compared to the old SNES version—no more awkward momentum when you're trying to land precise jumps. And that Mode7 tag in the title? Yeah, they actually use some slick pseudo-3D effects for boss fights that look ridiculous (in a good way) on the GBA's tiny screen.
It's one of those games where you'll faceplant into spikes three times before realizing the timing on your somersault attack is everything. The music's still got that weird carnival-meets-techno vibe too.
