Remember Aero the Acro-Bat? This GBA sequel brings back the cartoony platforming chaos, but with way more attitude. You're still flipping through levels as the purple-haired bat, bouncing off enemies and grabbing power-ups, but now there's this whole revenge plot against the weasel villain, Edgar. The controls feel tighter than the old SNES version—those wall jumps actually work when you need them to.

First level throws you right into it: springs everywhere, floating platforms, and these annoying little minions that shoot bubbles at you. Took me a few tries to get the rhythm down, but once you nail the mid-air flips, it's stupidly satisfying. Also, whoever designed the carnival-themed stage deserves a medal—it's all neon lights and spinning rides you can grind on like some deranged Sonic level.

Not gonna lie, the difficulty spikes hard around world 3, but that's when the double-jump upgrade saves your life. Still holds up if you're into that 90s platformer vibe with a bit of extra polish.
