If you grew up with Tintin comics, this Game Boy Color adaptation of Prisoners of the Sun is a fun little nostalgia trip. You play as Tintin (and sometimes Snowy) solving puzzles, sneaking past guards, and exploring jungles—basically the comic come to life in pixel form. The controls are simple, but some of those temple puzzles will make you stop and think for a minute.
It’s not the deepest game out there, but the art style nails Hergé’s clean lines, and the music’s got that classic GBC charm. Just don’t expect anything groundbreaking—it’s a solid licensed game from the era, nothing more, nothing less. Still, if you’ve got a soft spot for Tintin, it’s worth a playthrough.
